Tesco Bags of Help

Caverswall Community Society have been successful in their bid to raise funds towards creating a child’s play area for their local community pub through the Tesco Bags of Help programme.
The Auctioneers Arms in Caverswall was reopened in May 2018 as a community owned pub and following feedback from locals created a business case to try and raise funds through the Tesco Bags of Help scheme. Their bid was successful and they have now received a cheque for £2000 from the programme administrators.
Special thanks must go out to Neil and Debbie Mountford who came up with the original idea and produced the business case as well as all of those who contributed and supported the campaign.
